I’m a mother, daughter, sister; middle aged and barely middle income. My passion and profession is teaching. I’m well educated and always learning. Growing up I felt rootless and culturless. I’ve been searching for my tribe for so long.

For thirteen years, many of them married, I was in a mentally, psychologically, and financially abusive relationship. I have two children with this man, both of whom are not nuerotypical.

I have been told that my story is inspiring. While I don’t feel inspiring in anyway, I believe the men and women who said this because I trust them deeply. I also believe very deeply in truth. The thirteen years of abuse taught me to hide and lie. I’d like to think of this blog as a path to redemption and reconnection to the truth for myself.
